Meet Dan Jacobs
Dan Jacobs serves as the Presiding Municipal Judge for Otis and Eckley, Colorado. A seasoned trial attorney, Dan brings years of courtroom experience and a strong legal background to the bench.
He trained under renowned trial lawyer Gerry Spence and earned his law degree from Washburn University, graduating with the Class of 2010.

Dan Jacobs is a notable figure in Colorado, recognized for his multifaceted career as an attorney, judge, and radio personality. Based in the Denver area, he serves as the presiding municipal judge for the towns of Otis and Eckley. Additionally, he is the founder of Jacobs Law PLLC, a law firm specializing in personal injury and civil litigation .
Beyond his legal career, Jacobs is also known for his role as a weekend talk show host on Denver’s sports radio station, 104.3 The Fan. His diverse professional background and community involvement have made him a prominent voice in Colorado’s legal and media landscapes.
Twice a month, he puts his BBQ skills to work serving meals and groceries #ForAurora. Dan is passionate about helping people from all walks of life.
He works alongside his lovely wife, Kimberly, every day to help improve the lives of their clients. The couple has 3 beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time in the mountains and getting outside with their energetic dog Rocky.
ABOUT KIMBERLY
Dan’s “Lovely Wife Kimberly” is the heart and soul of the firm. She’s often the friendly voice you hear on the other end of the phone when you call 303-LAW-4040. She serves as the firm’s Chief Case Manager, but more importantly, she’s a caring, empathic spirit connecting with clients throughout the life of the case. She’s one smart cookie – having graduated as valedictorian in high school and attended the University of Denver, obtaining degrees in Journalism and Digital Media Studies.
When she’s not keeping Dan in line at the office, she enjoys spending time with their three daughters. Kim also loves to hike, spend time in the mountains, travel and enjoy spirited worship among a wide variety of other interests!
